The Endless Possibilities of Acrylics with Maria Cole (Fridays)

Join Maria Cole in this deep dive into the exploration of the versatile medium of acrylics.  We will start with the very simple techniques of applying paint and becoming familiar with its fast drying properties.  Each week we will approach a new technique, one method leading to the next, inspiring creative freedom and inspiration for future works.  Students will discover how to stretch their creative wings experimenting with washes, transparent layers, opaque color as well as impasto utilizing a range of tools to achieve texture and interesting surface treatment. Some weeks will include homework that is related to the subjects explored in previous classes.  Instruction will be through demonstrations and personal attention, and Maria will work to help each student develop their own personal style.  Please sign up early, class six is limited to 12 students.
