Art Education at the League
Since 1929, the League has trained generations of artists who have attained regional,
national, and international acclaim. The New Mexico Art League offers a number of ways
interested artists can improve their skills, and we are continually striving
to improve the scope and quantity of our offerings.
Classes
Classes at the Art League are usually weekly classes; some are scheduled for a specific number of weeks while others may be ongoing. New class sessions start approximately every three months, but some begin at different dates, so keep an eye on the Classes page so you won't miss anything.
Workshops
Workshops vary in length from one or two to five days or more. Most are held in the studio spaces at New Mexico Art League. Check the specific descriptions of the workshops to see what fits your needs.
Open Studio Sessions
Life drawing sessions are scheduled weekly, but the schedule may change to accommodate workshops or special events. Check the web page or call the Art League to make sure of the times and dates of these sessions.
Instructors
The New Mexico Art League is pleased to have an outstanding group of instructors teaching classes and workshops. To learn more about them, visit the faculty page.
