Classical Figure Drawing - From the Beginning with Cody Kamrowski (Fridays)

Join artist, Cody Kamrowski, for this in-depth course exploring the elements that create  expressive figure drawings. Throughout the eight-week course, students will work from live models. Drawings will start out small and simply as students explore various tried-and-true methods of visual problem solving derived from illustration and academic realism. Composition and gesture drawing will be given particular attention. There will be a few optional homework assignments throughout the course for students who wish to solidify ideas covered in class. During the last two weeks, the model will take on a more complex pose which will be the subject of one final drawing. Students will finish this course with significant toolsand techniques for executing accurate and unique figure drawings from observation.
