Beginning Drawing for Anybody and Everybody with Nancy Goetz (Tuesdays)

Join Nancy Goetz in this 8-week class exploring the basics of drawing, from the beginning. Whether you are an absolute beginner or you simply want to brush up on the basics, this is the class for you! Learning to truly see what is in front of you is key to all successful drawing. We will be working from life to increase skills of observation and realistic rendering. We will be working creatively while learning to incorporate the core principles of drawing; composition, the exploration of line, value, texture, and creating the illusion of space. Students will also have the opportunity to try out a variety of mediums including pencil, pen, ink, and charcoal. Everybody will enjoy a great sense of accomplishment after completing several projects by the end of class.
