Fresh Alla Prima Florals in the Still Life with Cynthia Inson (Wednesday through Saturday)

This workshop is designed to move artists forward in their painting journey. Students will be encouraged to stretch and express themselves in a new way, completing one fresh, all prima painting in each of the four days. We will be working from still life set ups of luscious, exotic florals, encouraging spontaneity that is energizing and fun! Bold, direct painting, emphasizing form and value shifts and directional light will be the focus. Cynthia will start each day with a demonstration focusing on a different topic or technique (light, composition, brushwork). The rest of the instruction will be individual throughout each day. A positive group review of students’ work will wind up the workshop with a wonderful display of progress made by everyone. Some painting experience is helpful.
