MASTER ARTIST SERIES - Abstract Mixed Media Painting with Joan Fullerton (Thursday through Sunday)

This workshop will be, above all else, fun! Join Joan and dive into the wonderful world of abstract art, learning how to suggest rather than delineate. You will learn how to work intuitively without even realizing it. Joan will show students how to start by using shapes, line, and color, all while incorporating the neutrals for which she is so famous. Joan will address how to be selective with all the options on the table and in the studio. You will explore new mediums and try new combinations, pairing down to the essential choices. Students should bring fresh ideas to splash onto the canvas! Everyone will thrive in the informative and relaxed atmosphere, It is Joan’s belief that people are open to learning and creativity when they are having fun.  Beginning students will find encouragement and confidence, while more advanced students will benefit from her insightful solutions to their creative challenges.
