Quick Study Still Life: the Cupcake with Peggy Nichols (Wednesday and Friday)

Who doesn’t love a cupcake? Join artist Peggy Nichols in this 2-day workshop to learn to work quickly, getting the essentials of the subject (a cupcake) down while applying bold and dynamic techniques in pastel. Inspired by the 1960’s Pop Artist, Wayne Thiebaud, the workshop will focus on this simple and sweet form to explore the pastel palette, blending and layering colors with both broad strokes and scumbling techniques.
